Covid Killed Our Gap Year!
Ok, so that sounds dramatic.
We made it six months before we escaped Nepal for the UK when borders started closing around the world. We had a good run and feel incredibly lucky to have ended our trip at Everest Base Camp, so no complaints here. There are a few more big-ticket, bucket-list items to tick off, but more than likely these will happen on shorter trips in the future!
Here’s where it began…
When we told everyone we were quitting work and packing up our lives to travel for the foreseeable future, it was a bit of a mixed bag of reactions. Most people shared our excitement, but clearly some thought we had lost the plot.
We all have a different journey and every step we take forward is Another Step Along our individual path through life.
This is where you’ll find the travel stories of a couple of 30-somethings on the quest for adventure. You’ll also find suggested itineraries and general travel advice that we’ve picked up along the way.

Now that’s the boring stuff out of the way, I hope you enjoy the content on this website and find something useful for your own travels.
